It is presently managed and maintained by the Department of Wildlife and National Parks, which is located at the south of Kuala Lumpur and is at a distance of about 10 km from the township of Lancang.

Tourism is not widely allowed in Krau Wildlife Reserve in Malaysia. But efforts are being made to allow tourists and visitors in the buffer zone which is outside the reserve.

Admission: There is rest house with three bedrooms, and camp site.

How to Reach there: From Kuala Lumpur, take the Karak highway and follow the road to Bandar Temerloh. Taxi services are available to the park. Overland towards Temerloh (TR 2), north towards Jerantut (TR 98) and then to Kampung Krau (on TR 64). The park headquarters at Kuala Lompat is close and is accessible by car. An alternative is to take the "jungle train" and then public transport to the center.
