Sri Perumal Temple

Description :
This temple has been in existence for more than 100 years. The Temple was formed in the 19th century to cater for the small community within the Castlefield Estate. The temple management has faced three (3) court proceedings against demolition/shifting of the temple. With God's blessing, the temple management has successfully overcome these obstacles.

Finally on 15th April 1996, a mutual settlement was reached between the developer of Pusat Bandar Puchong, “Wawasan Indera Sdn Bhd” and, the temple management. As part of the settlement agreement, the developer gave half (½) an acre of land adjoining the existing Castlefield Tamil School and, an ex-gratia payment of RM 100,000 towards the construction of a new temple building. A temporary temple structure was built on the new premises and, the “Balastabanam” of the temple was held on 1st November 1998.

Location: Sri Perumal Temple is situated at 11½ th mile, Jalan Puchong in Pusat Bandar Puchong.
