COLLECTION/DISPLAY:

The museum building was a former temporary palace built in 1926. Previously known as Istana Kenangan, Istana Tepas and Istana Lembah, the Perak Royal Museum is an amazing achievement in architecture. It was built without any architechtural plans and without using a single nail. It is situated near the Istana Iskandariah, the Sultan of Perak's official residence. On display are chronological history of the state of Perak and its Sultanate.

How to Reach there: Kuala Kangsar is approximately 50km north of lpoh, the state capital of Perak. The museum is located approximately 4 km from the town centre.
